Castle Cochem

Viewings, Gastereyen (Rittermahle), gemütliche Burgschänke with a breathtaking view over the Moselle river valley.

Burg Eltz

The only castle in the area, that was never destroyed - one can see exactly how people lived in the middle ages. The castel treasures can also be viewed. A wonderful forest path leads to the castle.

Wine Museum

In the wine museum Lipmonn in Beilstein one can learn about the history of wine in the area, and see the old tools of the wine-growers.

Animal Adventurepark Klotten

Animalpark with a fairytale forest and a large park full of attractions for the kids, as well as wild animal enclosures.

Bellsmith Brockscheid

Take a look around the Bellsmith Brockscheid in the Vulkaneifel. Use the rest of the day to look around the city of Daun and the nearby lakes (Volcano crater lakes).

Eifelpark Gandorf

The Moselle River-Wine-Express takes you on a 30-minute Ponoramic round trip through Cochem with commentary. Get on at the old Moselle river bridge, at the Enthetplatz.

Rambling

The Moselle river valley with the Eifel and Hunsrück offers great rambling for outdoor lovers. Reach viewpoints to enjoy the view across the valley, or trek through the beatiful woodland paths.

Boat hire

Take out a motorboat for up to 7 people on the Moselle river. You don't need a driving licence. Boat rental can be found on the Moselle riverbank across from the council buildings.
